As the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our digital marketing and communications strategy to support the company’s overall goals and objectives in both the USA and Pakistan. Additionally, you will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate cross-functionally with all stakeholders in both countries. Your role includes supporting the routine operations, sustainability initiatives, and growth strategies of the group companies and clients through various digital channels and platforms.
Digital Strategy Development:
⎯ Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing and communication strategy that aligns with the company’s overall objectives and growth targets.
⎯ Identify emerging digital trends and technologies to ensure our digital strategy remains innovative and competitive.
Team Leadership and Management:
⎯ Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of digital marketing and communication professionals.
⎯ Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Content Creation and Management:
⎯ Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality digital content across various online channels, including websites, social media, email marketing, and more.
⎯ Ensure all content is consistent with our brand identity, messaging, and visual standards.
⎯ Strictly meet timelines of all marketing deliverables as agreed with leadership and clients.
Digital Advertising and Paid Media:
⎯ Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across social platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook
Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and others.
⎯ Efficiently use Search Engine Marketing (SEM) tools to get traffic and visibility from both organic and paid search.
⎯ Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to make data-driven adjustments and improvements.
Website and SEO Management Strategy:
⎯ Lead new websites development and maintenance of existing websites.
⎯ Ensuring a user-friendly experience, up-to-date content, and optimal SEO performance.
⎯ Implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
Social Media Management Strategy:
⎯ Develop and execute a social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, audience growth, and lead generation.
⎯ Monitor social media trends and ensure timely response to customer inquiries and comments in a controlled and professional manner.
Analytics and Reporting:
⎯ Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
⎯ Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on campaign performance and recommendations for improvement.
⎯ Develop and manage the digital marketing and communication budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and ROI optimization.
Compliance and Data Privacy:
⎯ Ensure all digital marketing practices comply with relevant regulations, including GDPR, and protect customer data and privacy.
Project Management Responsibilities:
⎯ Spearhead the planning and execution of digital marketing and communication projects, ensuring each project’s objectives and timelines are meticulously defined and met.
⎯ Articulate clear project scopes, delineating the boundaries, deliverables, and expected outcomes, while aligning them with the overarching business strategy.
⎯ Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including human resources, budgets, and tools, to optimize project efficiency and productivity.
⎯ Facilitate seamless coordination among team members, both internal and external, to harmonize their efforts and talents towards project success.
⎯ Maintain rigorous oversight to guarantee that projects are completed within stipulated timelines and financial constraints, meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations.
⎯ Implement robust progress monitoring mechanisms, regularly tracking project milestones, and promptly addressing any deviations from the project plan.
Internal Portals UI & UX:
⎯ Enhance user interface and user experience (UI & UX) of internal portals (intranet), external communication tools, and dashboards.
Print Materials and Merchandise:
⎯ Managing the end-to-end process of vendor coordination for printing marketing materials like brochure, flyers, posters, standees, for USA and Pakistan including company branded giveaways and other merchandise.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Master’s degree in marketing, Communications, digital media, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven 10+ years’ experience in marketing and at least 5+ years in digital marketing, with a track record of successful strategy development and execution.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO & SEM tools, social media management platforms, website management, email marketing software, etc.)
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Creative thinking and a passion for staying up to date with digital marketing trends.
• Strong project management and campaign management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and flexible environment.
• Experience in working for USA based clients and campaigns.
